Zusammenfassung
Wir beginnen dieses Kapitel mit der Beschreibung einer wichtigen Anwendung der linearen Programmierung. Als Beispiel wird uns ein Transportproblem dienen. Obwohl diese Art von Problemen mit Hilfe der konventionellen Simplex-Technik gelöst werden kann, wurden noch leistungsfähigere Methoden entwickelt, die wir besprechen und erläutern werden.
