Zusammenfassung

Das zentrale Thema der politischen Pädagogik in der Bundesrepublik war und ist die politische Partizipation der Bürger. Politische Bildung soll nach allgemeiner Auffassung die Heranwachsenden zu politischer Partizipation befähigen, also darauf hinwirken, daß diese informiert und interessiert, kritisch und ohne Scheu vor Konflikten am politischen Leben teilnehmen.
