Zusammenfassung
Die Numerische Mathematik befaßt sich mit der Herleitung und Untersuchung von Algorithmen zur Lösung numerischer Probleme. Nicht jedes Problem ist wegen der Rundungsfehler auch auf einem Digital-Rechner lösbar. Nicht jeder Algorithmus bestimmt auf einem Digital-Rechner die Lösung genügend genau.
