Das Thema meines Vortrages heißt: „Zwischengitteratome in Metallen“. Was sind Zwischengitteratome? Wie die meisten Festkörper besitzen die Metalle einen Kristallaufbau, bei dem die einzelnen Atome regelmäßig in einem Gitter angeordnet sind. Kupfer und Aluminium z. B. kristallisieren in einem kubisch flächenzentrierten, Eisen und Tantal in einem kubisch raumzentrierten Gitter.
