Zusammenfassung

Im Zeichen der zunehmenden Globalisierung gewinnt die Internationalisierung von Unternehmen immer mehr an Bedeutung. Multinationale Unternehmen unterscheiden sich in vielen Aspekten grundlegend von nationalen Unternehmen. Aus der simultanen Tätigkeit in verschiedenen Hoheitsgebieten mit unterschiedlichen Währungen, Wirtschaftsund Rechtordnungen resultieren wesentliche Unterschiede im Umfeld multinationaler Unternehmen im Vergleich zu rein nationalen. Wie in diesem Abschnitt gezeigt wird, eröffnen sich multinationalen Unternehmen einerseits besondere Chancen, andererseits unterliegen sie aber auch größeren Risiken. Dieser Umstand kann sich direkt oder indirekt auf Finanzierungsentscheidungen auswirken.
