Zusammenfassung
Ein Blick auf die nachstehende Auflistung der globalen Ausdehnung von ABB wirft die Frage nach den Einzelheiten hinter diesem beeindruckenden globalen Auftragsportfoho auf.
Der größte Unterschied zu heute wird zukünftig in der Geschwindigkeit liegen, mit der Veränderungen stattfinden. Bis zum Jahr 2010 werden China und Indien neben Deutschland und den USA zu den größten Heimatmärkten von ABB zählen. Russland, Indonesien und Brasilien werden sich auch ihren Weg nach oben bahnen. Diese Veränderungen werden so schnell vonstatten gehen und eine solche Dimension erreichen, dass die Entwicklungen in Westeuropa, auf die wir heute einen Großteil unserer Aufmerksamkeit richten, daneben klein und unbedeutend erscheinen werden.
