Zusammenfassung
Entscheidungsfindungen in kleinen und mittleren Unternehmen (KMU) sind durch situationsbezogene Interpretationen und dynamische Verläufe gekennzeichnet. Wichtige Entscheidungen werden spontan und auf den ersten Blick „unüberlegt“ gefällt, Strategien sind offensichtlich nicht vorhanden. So haben knapp 52 v. H aller KMU in Deutschland keinerlei Konzepte für die Geschäftsführung, ein Viertel verfügt über wenigstens einjährige Strategiekonzepte, nur knapp 22 v. H - zumeist größere Unternehmen mit mehr als 50 Beschäftigten - über mehrjährige Vorlagen (MIND 1999). Brauchen KMU kein strategisches Management?
