Zusammenfassung

Bereits seit den 50er Jahren konzentrierten sich v.a. soziologische und familienpsychologische Forschungsansätze, welche sich mit der Entwicklung und den Entwicklungsaufgaben von Kindern, Erwachsenen und Familien über die Lebensspanne hinweg beschäftigten, auf sogenannte „normative Übergangsphasen im Lebenslauf“. Darunter wurden Veränderungen verstanden, welche gewöhnlich Menschen in ihrer Entwicklung bewältigen (z.B. Pubertät) oder von einer überwiegenden Mehrheit angestrebt werden (z.B. Heirat, Geburt eines Kindes etc.).
