Abstract
New potential applications for botulinum neurotoxin (BoNT) therapy are constantly pointed out through the emerging literature in this field. In this chapter, we discuss potential indications for botulinum neurotoxin treatment in four fields of medicine: Psychiatry (depression), cardiology (irregular heart beats, atrial fibrillation) and pain medicine (cancer related pain, prevention of post-surgical pain, temporomandibular pain and pain associated with teeth grinding), dermatology (psoriasis and recalcitrant itch).
