Abstract
By the end of this chapter students should be able to:

explain the term iteration;

repeat a section of code with a for loop ;

repeat a section of code with a while loop ;
-
repeat a section of code with a do…while loop ;
-
select the most appropriate loop for a particular task;
-
use a break statement to terminate a loop;
-
use a continue statement to skip an iteration of a loop;
-
explain the term input validation and write simple validation routines.
