Abstract
Within the sphere of global health, there are many different types of organizations working to achieve similar goals but through different methods. Understanding just what these different organizations are sheds light on what and how they operate and what their motivations are for the work they do. First we will explore the general categories of these organizations, which are governmental organizations, nonprofit organizations, and for-profit organizations. Following that, we will look more in depth at different types of organizations that fall under the different categories and explore how they operate and how they all work together to their mutual benefit.
