Abstract

Roundabout as a circular intersection can be treated depending on the country as one intersection or as a set of connected intersections. The traffic on the roundabout is around the island or around this part. According to the definition, roundabouts at this type of intersections minimize the number of collision points is making this kind of crossing safer than other types of intersections. The article contains an analysis of traffic safety on roundabouts in the city of Kędzierzyn-Koźle, in Poland in 2008–2017.
