Changes in Values of Traffic Volume - Case Study Based on General Traffic Measurements in Opolskie Voivodeship (Poland)

Conference paper
Part of the Lecture Notes in Networks and Systems book series (LNNS, volume 51)

Abstract

Traffic measurements and surveys are indispensable in road traffic engineering. Results delivered by such studies are used in numerous detailed follow-up analyses, but also to make planning decisions and to design transport infrastructure as well as traffic control systems. This article addresses outcomes of a detailed analysis of results of the General Traffic Measurements conducted over the years 2000–2015. The analysis has been performed with reference to results pertaining to Opolskie Voivodeship.
