Abstract

Since evaluation of the lesion in the clinico-radiologic setting is critical in avoiding misdiagnosis, the pathologist responsible for CNS intraoperative consultations must be familiar with basic clinical and neuroimaging characteristics of known clinico-pathologic entities. This chapter reviews these important topics and summarizes general interpretative guidelines.
