Abstract
The stability of keratoconus after intrastromal corneal ring segments implantation (ICRS) remains a debate among keratoconus specialists. Some of them agree that ICRS stabilizes the disease; some agree that it reduces the speed of progression and some believe that it has just an ortophedic effect, correcting the deformity without direct influence in the evolution of the disease. This chapter discusses the theme: Can ICRS halt keratoconus evolution?
