Abstract
The Aguablanca Ni–Cu sulfide ores occur within the Aguablanca stock, a small (approximately 3 km2 in area) subcircular mafic intrusion located in the northern part of the Santa Olalla Igneous Complex (SOIC). The SOIC is located in the southern limb of the Olivenza-Monesterio antiform, a major WNW-ESE trending Variscan structure, occupying a central position within the Ossa-Morena Zone (OMZ).
