Abstract
Smart factory has become increasingly important in the last years as an indispensable manufacturing model of the future. In this context, studies on the development of technologies in the field of smart factory systems intensively continue in the world. Turkey is also trying to contribute through national grant mechanisms to encourage technology development efforts in this area. In this study, the situation of smart factory system technologies in Turkey has been explained. By examining the academic studies and by carrying out a questionnaire study to companies and academicians studying in this field, suggestions are made about which of the smart factory system technologies should be given priority to gain momentum in this field.
