Abstract

Public media have been a reality instituted in a great number of countries of the world. Europe has important references that have managed to build a solid public television system. In Latin America, channels fonded by the Estate generally had bad experiences because they have been more propagandistic television stations. Such public service system must consolidate an administrative, financial structure independent from its governments in order to permit and propel programming of public interest in which citizens are reflected. To date all television networks run a website as well as social networks. Television sees Facebook as a key emitter of informational events. From this, the 360° images, and especially the streaming, hatch the Network. Public TV in, terms of democracy, must be reinvented and converge for users are eager for new experiences.
