Abstract
Modern development of the global economy is built on the principles of sustainable development, mandatory consideration of the ecological component, and development of eco-innovations. The article views the peculiarities and the sense of ecological innovations, as well as the methods of formation of eco-innovations in the global economy and the Russian economy. The authors present analysis of dynamics of eco-innovations in Russia for 2010–2015, determine the existing problems during implementation of eco-innovations in Russia, and offer the mechanism of eliminating the barriers during management of eco-innovations implementation.
