Abstract
In view of production account of the System of national accounts (hereinafter – SNA), the work presents a typology of countries in view of such indicators as the gap between export and import, the level of economy’s openness, export effort of the countries, the countries’ dependence on import, tax load, and the share of investments and capital goods in GAP, which allows for determination of the key problems in the sphere of formation and use of GDP and added value of certain countries; an approach to formation of strategic priorities of development of the national economy is offered, which will allow developing the targeted strategic landmarks of development of separate regions.
