Abstract
Enriching mobile network data with well-defined and highly expressive semantics and correlating this data with heterogeneous context data sources (available within the LOD Cloud, for example) will enable new application areas for mobile network operators and foster innovative context-aware services. This fusion will facilitate the usage of sophisticated semantic queries that do not (only) rely on network parameters, geofences, or geo coordinates, but rather on semantic relations between different network components and external context data sources. In combination with powerful reasoners that generate implicit knowledge out of the semantically enriched data, network providers might be given a head start compared to other service providers, which do not possess these assets.
