Undulator Radiation

Abstract

Undulators and wigglers are widely used in modern accelerator-based light sources. The significant amount of radiated power they can emit also make them important components for electron or positron damping rings. We derive the properties of the undulator radiation using the solution of the Thomson scattering problem from Chap.  16.
