Abstract
This chapter focuses on the practice of healing and the understanding of well-being in Zimbabwean Pentecostal churches. It discusses Pentecostal healing as a conversion strategy. Focus is also on the healing methods and the biblical basis of the whole practice. The social role of Pentecostal healing in a context of failing medical services is also analysed. Lastly, the chapter analyses the extent to which Pentecostal healing practices and understanding of well-being relate with indigenous practices and beliefs.
