Abstract

Glycolic acid (GA), Jessner’s solution, and 5-fluorouracil (5-FU) present synergistic effects in the treatment of actinic keratoses (AKs), actinic porokeratosis, and solar damage. Named as fluor-hydroxy pulse peel, the combination of these substances applied as a pulse dose regimen provides both cosmetic improvement and therapeutic effect on ablating premalignant actinic dermatosis.
