Abstract
Polydioxanone (PDO) is an organic polymeric compound capable of inducing collagen synthesis to improve skin laxity [1]. This material is shaped in the form of a thin thread that is implanted in the dermal layer of skin using a needle following the acupuncture technique [2]. Treatment of the neck and submental laxity is safe, fast, and efficient [3].
