Minimally Invasive Aesthetic Procedures

Abstract

Aging process also affects ear lobes because of the lack of cartilage and bone support. The lobes lose their shape easily. They become thinner and longer and may also present lines and laxity.

The lobe is a small compartment so, because of that, the amount of filler must be well considered in order to avoid overcorrection and deformities (Bertossi et al. J Dermatol, 2013).

Hyaluronic acid is an appropriate and safe product to be used in that area because it has good performance offering reshape, natural texture, and support. More than that it also increases skin quality and may correct the ear hole earring when it stretches or splits partially (Bertossi et al. J Dermatol, 2013; Chun et al. Biomater Res. 2016).

The treatment is a fast procedure that can offer a possibility of ear lobe rejuvenation or correction of imperfections or defects.
