Abstract
Glycolic acid is an alpha-hydroxy acid obtained from sugarcane, which can be used as a peel at concentrations ranging from 20% to 70%. It’s considered to have a greater absorption profile among the other alpha-hydroxy acids and can be helpful to the therapeutic approach of acne, melasma, and skin aging, for either face or body skin.
