Abstract
Striae distensae or stretch marks are dermal scars, most of the time characterized by flattening and atrophy of the epidermis, although some present a hypertrophic aspect, similar to thick lines. A common, permanent, aesthetically undesirable skin condition, SD are often a significant source of distress to patients.
