Abstract

Information is presented on format, abbreviations, diagnostic features including external body structures and genital structures important for identification (e.g. aedeagus, parameres, spermatheca, and terminal segments of abdomen), microdissection and preparation of genital structures for examination and diagnostics, image production, DNA barcoding, and a review of collection methods and habitats.
