Abstract
Resistive plate chambers are gaseous detectors, known for their excellent timing and good spatial resolution. The India Based Neutrino Observatory is planned to set up a massive Iron calorimeter (ICAL) detector in southern the part of India, which utilize thick iron plate as an absorbent material and large no of RPCs as an active detector element for the study of neutrino physics. The whole scenario requires a sophisticated and compact electronics. We are commissioning multi-channel front- end ASIC HARDROC for this purpose. The measured performance like cross talk in neighboring channels, jitter and linearity of each FSBs of the chip will be presented.
