Abstract
a species of denticulate conodont elements in the family Cordylodontidae; its first appearance (currently considered to be 485.4 Ma) marks the GSSP for the beginning of the Early Ordovician in Newfoundland, Canada; the species is also known from the United States, Asia, and Australia.
