Abstract
In recent years research in solar cell physics and reliability aspects of solar photovoltaic systems has exhibited potential for significant cost reduction as well as functionality amelioration. In this chapter high efficiency and cost-effective approaches in solar energy conversion to make solar photovoltaics a commercial perspective has been discussed.
