The New Mechanism of Advancing Hierarchical Mobile IPv6 Handoff

Mobile IPv6 protocol is time-consuming in duplicated address detection (DAD) and location update link. On the basis of original HMIPv6 module, this scheme has built a DAD table lookup and an active care of address mechanism by introducing an IP address management module with the help of the expanding neighbor discovery protocol. this scheme as resolved the traditional DAD operation problem, which needs passive waiting for detection result; and it also has reduced handoff delay effectively. In the end, this scheme has built the network topology by using the NS-2 simulation tool, which used to take simulation test to that optimization scheme. It has been proved by the result that this scheme can not only require less time for the handoff delay, but also reduce the package lost rate of mobile node.
