Abstract
This chapter reviews the biopsy procedures performed in soft tissue mass lesions. Technical principles are discussed for the various locations and needle types. Indications, techniques and approach, choice of equipment, quantity of pharmaceuticals and appropriate aftercare as well as possible procedure-related symptoms and their treatment are described.
