Abstract
In order to outline the direction of “Conscious Business in Germany”, this chapter covers the scope and objectives of the book. The components are structured within an illustration to clarify relevant connections between the chapters and the embedded content. In addition, it provides the reader with fundamental aspects that have been significantly impacting the concept’s emergence. Moreover, the following introduction offers the reader an outlook regarding the concept’s future impact and relevance from an economic and societal perspective.
