Abstract

Credit unions are financial institutions that offer most of the same services as retail banks, including transaction and savings accounts, credit cards, personal and small business loans, mortgages, and investment products. Thus it stands to reason that they could be analyzed by many of the same DEA models used to analyze banks, albeit with modifications to reflect their distinct characteristics.
