Abstract
Talus fractures are injuries relatively infrequent that represent less than the 1% of all the fractures and only the 3–5% of the fractures of the foot.
Classification, indications, goals of surgery and surgical techniques are the main topics that need a careful consideration. Specific cases like snowboarder’s talus and crush injuries need dedicated surgical programs.
