Abstract

Olecranon fractures are common injuries. Their management requires prompt attention with detailed clinical and radiological evaluation. Appropriate pre-operative planning is essential in order to select the correct implant for the right fracture pattern. In this chapter the principles of fracture reduction and fixation are discussed in order to avoid pitfalls and post fracture fixation complications.
