Abstract
Personal recommendations, historical overviews, and statistical facts regarding Antarctic exploration were written by José María Sobral toward the end of his time in Antarctica, during the Swedish-Argentine Antarctic Expedition of 1901–1903. These writings from his diary include a passage dated around October 8, 1903. This treatise on Antarctic exploration contains Sobral’s views and summaries regarding his experience in the Antarctic, an overview of historical expeditions conducted by other countries, and suggestions and recommendations for future Argentine expeditions to Antarctica.
