Abstract
The second winter at Snow Hill for the members of the Swedish-Argentine Antarctic Expedition, January 25, 1903, through October 24, 1903, was documented in José María Sobral’s Diary. The entries were made during the time of realization that the ship Antarctic may not return to retrieve the expedition, the desperate attempt to stockpile enough food to survive the winter, and the numerous sledging journeys to collect fossils and conduct scientific studies.
