Abstract

Numbers occur quite frequently in the abbreviations used in the social media. Due to the bizarre spelling system of English, numbers can be used in many different ways:

  • /won/, 2) /tu/, 3) /thri/ or /fri/, 4) /for/, 8) /eit/
