Abstract
This chapter provides a review of insulin use during pregnancy. Types of insulin, initiation of insulin therapy during pregnancy, insulin use and breastfeeding, and non-insulin injectables are discussed. This chapter is a concise introduction to the different insulin formulations and how they should be used.
