Spin Injection

Chapter
Part of the Springer Series in Solid-State Sciences book series (SSSOL, volume 157)

Abstract

The magnetic dipole moment that’s associated with a particle’s spin state is a fundamental property with manifestations in many branches of physics. In Condensed Matter Physics, electron (and hole) spin offers a rich phenomenology and this volume gives an appreciation of many of these topics.
