Abstract

The searches identified 2495 papers (Fig. 43.1). However, only 43 mapped to search terms. Six hundred and fifteen were excluded due to not being applicable to the topics of prostate cancer and survivorship. Most were related to active therapy, or were related to secondary research and as such excluded, as they did not relate to survivorship. The current systematic reviews were examined to gain further knowledge about the subject. One thousand seven hundred and sixty one were duplicates. Of the 43 papers left, relevant abstracts were identified and the full paper obtained, all of which were in English. There was considerable heterogeneity among the included studies therefore a narrative synthesis of the evidence was undertaken
