Abstract

The Clinical Research Center (CRC) at Alexandria University in Alexandria, Egypt was established in July 2006 and was the first center for clinical trials in Egypt. The vision of the CRC is to become a Center of Scientific Excellence in Clinical Research. The mission of the CRC is to enhance and expand the magnitude of high-quality and ethical clinical research. Our objectives include: (1) to foster innovative, high-impact clinical trials that will enhance drug development activities; and (2) to train regional researchers to conduct multinational trials and other health research.
