Abstract

Gallium-68 DOTATATE has been shown to be useful for a wide range of tumors of neuroendocrine origin including carcinoid, pheochromocytomas, pancreatic islet cell tumors, and medullary carcinoma of the thyroid. Combining PET and MR imaging with DOTATE is an excellent modality to evaluate these somatostatin tumors.
