The main interest of the chapter lies in its discussion of the role of poetic and scientific ways of experiencing reality. Focusing on different theoretical explanation to define the poetic and the scientific knowledge, the chapter also emphasizes the continuous reformulation of knowledge which is based on symbiotic relationship between knowledge and experience.
