Concluding Remarks and Outlook
In this book, we have demonstrated that liganded gold and silver quantum clusters can be viewed as a new class of nonlinear optical materials. Recent studies have clearly demonstrated that ligated noble [silver (Ag), gold (Au), …] metal NCs, with few to hundred atoms exhibit remarkable nonlinearities.
