Abstract
Qualitative research has taken different turns over the years which has meant a need for a greater understanding of how one might judge new and emerging forms of qualitative research. Instead of taking a criteriology approach, this chapter argues, along with others, that a list of characterising traits (characterising an artful science) needs to be available to reviewers when judging qualitative research.
