Abstract
Oakley had been advised by numerous professors as an undergraduate at Cornell that cramming for exams was deleterious to your performance. You’d do better if you just cleared your brain for an hour or even a half an hour before the exam, particularly the 2- or 3-h long final exams, if you just took a walk.
